OK Google, let’s create a social campaign. We teamed up with Google to find a better way to highlight the human side of their company, personalize their hiring process, and attract a whole new crop of Googlers. Through a series of motion and still assets, our campaigns gave potential candidates a look at the hiring process, the products that they could help create, and what life at Google would be like once they joined the team.
When Google asked us to help them conceive a “Thank You” video for their interns, we couldn’t wait to get started. After exploring a number of creative approaches, we found a concept that best matched their desired tone and resonated with everyone. Producing the video was a true partnership, working with Google every step of the way from copywriting to music selection. Our collaboration culminated with a custom shoot at Google, featuring their actual interns. Back in the editing bay, we assembled a final product designed to inspire and acknowledge their interns and the difference they make every day.
The Google Hardware team creates the products that help us connect and explore new worlds. Whether it’s a Google Pixel, a Home Mini, or a Daydream, we were tasked with highlighting the developers of these products and how they help shape the future of this innovative company. To bring our campaign to life, we conceived and ran a custom photoshoot that focused on the diversity of the people behind the products. We then converted this footage into stylized motion assets that targeted future hires and the amazing work they could be a part of once they joined the Google Hardware team.
To drive potential employees to Google’s “Virtual Career Fair” video playlist, we created a series of carnival-themed animated videos and stills that accentuated the playful nature of the brand, making it more approachable for future hires. These assets were brought to life through custom illustrations and animations.
During the month of June, Google encourages students to participate in acts of service and share them using #StudentServe. To help spread the word, and get students excited, we created a series of posters that were printed out and posted in some high traffic areas. We then took the designs and created a series of social assets that helped deliver the message to the digital world.
Can you think of a more intimidating place to apply for a job than Google? Well, maybe you can, but the majority of us probably don't think we have what it takes to land a job there. So, to soften the blow and make the "Big G" more approachable, we centered the campaign around a singular story - following your dreams. Through a variety of unique stories, we'll follow along as people chase their dreams and find out that they might actually be a perfect fit for Google.
Google is HUGE, which means there are a lot of different departments, looking for a variety of candidates. In these shorter videos we created for their social channels, we follow along with our dreamers as their search for the perfect job.
